My name is Cate - I'm an aspiring policy communications professional in Washington, D.C. Currently, I'm a senior at American University studying public relations, marketing and psychology. I’ve interned on Capitol Hill in my senator’s press office and at various public relations agencies in D.C. working on both consumer and policy clients. I have experience writing, conducting research, monitoring issues, compiling media lists and drafting content for social platforms. I’ll be graduating in about a month and am looking to start a career in public affairs PR in Washington, D.C.

Outside of my professional interests, my hobbies include eating my way around the District, drinking way too much coffee and watching videos of corgis. I love traveling and have been to 12 countries so far - a list I hope to grow. I grew up in a suburb outside of Philadelphia, PA but have been living in D.C. ever since starting school at AU in 2012.
